The advantages of SNR

SNR, supplier of automotive bearings, is constantly involved in technical innovations and successful technologies.

The technology with sheet steel and self centering took a lead in the market some years ago, and SNR were one of the main players when this started.

The production volumes of thrust bearings and rotating parts make SNR one of the largest producers in the world, complete with   experience and a recognised quality (60,000 thrust bearings per day including 30,000 clutch bearings)

The rigorous quality controls which take place during production are a guarantee of the quality of our un-housed thrust bearings (rotating parts of future BAC.)

The clutch bearing market has strong potential today and in the future.

As a partner with manufacturers SNR is able to offer Aftermarket customers all of the necessary supports(training, advice, expertise,…).

All of our rotating parts are approved for original equipment

Many criteria are taken into account by SNR when designing a clutch bearing. The designs from SNR are optimised as demanded by the application criteria (diameter of the tube guide, diameter of the assembly, clutch casing layout) and operating conditions (temperature, speed and load). Considerations of all of these factors results in an optimised shape of the rings, size of the balls, sealing and the type of grease used.

When does a clutch bearing have to be changed ?

The clutch bearing is in a very demanding application. In Europe, it is necessary to consider replacing the bearing every 4 years or over 90,000 km.
