NTN Europe renews its commitment to the Rumeau-Amblard duo for the 2025 season

When performance, technical skill and team spirit come together from the starting line, winning partnerships are born. NTN Europe is proud to support the duo Sarah Rumeau (driver) and Julie Amblard (co-driver), a talented female crew who are thrilling the WRC2 World Rally Championship and the French Gravel and Tarmac Championship in 2025.

An ambitious female duo at the heart of WRC2

It all starts long before the race starts. It is the story of two enthusiasts with complementary backgrounds, determined to chart their own course in a sport where precision, responsiveness and endurance are key.

Sarah Rumeau and Julie Amblard form a close-knit and determined team, already crowned French Women's Rally Champions. They now compete in WRC2, a prestigious category of the World Rally Championship, where they face the best drivers on demanding terrain combining dirt and asphalt.

From a shared passion to the international stage

2021: Sarah and Julie meet during a race and form a team. Their partnership quickly stands out for its exceptional performances and their on-track chemistry. 

2024: Sarah and Julie make history by becoming the first female team in 35 years to finish in the top five of the French Rally Championship. Their determination and talent propelled them to the top of the French rally. 

2025: On the strength of their national successes, they announced their participation in six rounds of the World Rally Championship (WRC2), a first for a female team since Michèle Mouton. Their ambition: to conquer the biggest international rallies and inspire a new generation of drivers.

Their commitment to international competition demonstrates a desire to surpass themselves with each race. Performance, precision and reliability: qualities shared with NTN Europe, now at their side in this adventure. 

SNR bearings on the starting line

Competing in WRC2, Sarah Rumeau and Julie Amblard are driving a Citroën C3 Rally2, prepared with the expertise of Sarrazin Motorsport. This partnership enables them to aim for the highest levels of performance on the most demanding terrain in the championship.

In 2025, NTN Europe is making a concrete contribution to the adventure by supplying the team with wheel bearings. These components are essential to guarantee the reliability and safety of the vehicle in extreme conditions, such as those encountered in rallying.

A 2025 calendar focused on excellence

The year 2025 promises to be intense and thrilling for Sarah Rumeau and Julie Amblard, who are embarking on a double calendar combining national excellence and international prestige. They will take part in 13 races of the French Gravel and Tarmac Rally Championship, as well as 7 rounds of the WRC2 World Championship, a first for this exceptional female duo.

From Le Touquet to Saudi Arabia, their season will be punctuated by major challenges in varied, demanding and technical environments. Among the key events: the legendary Monte Carlo Rally to open the season, the impressive Vodafone Rally of Portugal, the rocky roads of the Acropolis in Greece, the fast forests of Finland, the diversity of the Central Europe Rally and finally the brand new WRC stage in Saudi Arabia, which will close their world season in November.
